Top 5 Wednesday - Top Blue Covers

Hello there! I just joined the goodreads group Top 5 Wednesday (T5W) where the idea is to post your top 5 of a given topic to your booktube or blog. I'm excited to start this as I often have a hard time coming up with post ideas (other than book reviews).

So this week the topic is Top Blue Covers (of books you own). I simply picked the five most beautiful blue covers that I own and did not choose based on how much I like the book. So these are the five I chose:

 5. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
I feel like this is such an obvious joice but at the same time I do really like that cover. It's so simple and cute and I just had to include it in this list.

4. Tintentod by Cornelia Funke
This is the German cover for Inkdeath and I really really like it. I read this book a long time ago (that's why it's in German) but I've always liked what it looks like. Even though the cover itself isn't that blue, I still count it because it's the blue book in the trilogy and the rest of the book is blue and that has to be enough. This cover is so different from anything else and that's why I like it. I just want to jump right into the world hidden behind it!

3. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
This is a very obvious joice for me as well. I absolutely adore all the covers of the Shatter Me trilogy and this is the most blue one, so I had to pick it. I don't know why I'm so in love with these covers but I am and so third place for Shatter Me. I'm also really really glad I have the book with this cover and not with the girl on it because that cover is one of the ugliest ones I've ever seen. The eye is much much better!

2. The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton
This is the only book on this list that I have not yet read, but it's still absolutely stunning. I actually only bought this one because of the beautiful cover. I just love feathers and that's really all it took to convince me to buy this and to make it second place in this list.

1. The Edge of Falling by Rebecca Serle
Another one I only bought because of the cover, but this one I have read. I didn't actually like it very much but that doesn't change the fact that it's the most beautiful blue cover that I own. I don't know what it is about this one either, I just had to have it because of its beauty.

So these are the five prettiest blue covers that I own. Let me know if you agree or which ones you'd choose. Thank you for reading!

  1. I definitely second the Shatter Me cover! I'm so glad they reformed them--they're now the prettiest covers I own :)

    1. I totally agree. I think Ignite Me is my favorite, though. :)
